The Passport package integrates Passport.js authentication strategies into nestelia's guard system.

Installation

PassportStrategy

Create a strategy by extending the PassportStrategy mixin:

  async validate(payload: { sub: string; email: string }) {

The validate() method is called after the strategy verifies the credentials. Its return value is attached to the request as request.user.

AuthGuard

Use AuthGuard to protect routes with a specific strategy:

Multiple Strategies

AuthGuard accepts an array of strategy names. The request is authenticated if any strategy succeeds:

Registering Strategies

Include the strategy provider in your module:
